Women Helping Others (W.H.O.) is a golf outing organized and supported by concerned women who believe in the spirit of giving, and who enjoy enriching the lives of other women and families in the Marshfield area.

One hundred percent of this year’s proceeds will directly benefit Shirley's House of Hope.

“Shirley's House of Hope is a faith based domestic violence shelter for women and children hurting from the effects of domestic violence in the Marshfield area.  The board is negotiating a building contract and is working hard to open the shelter within the next few months Our goal is to open the facility as soon as we can pay for the start up costs and have ongoing support to pay rent and insurance costs.  Our web site is shirleyshouseofhope.org.”

 “Who” should participate?

Women who play golf who want to join together in a day of fun and friendly competition while donating to our worthy cause.

What?

A team “scramble” also locally called a “best ball scramble” of 18 holes with flights determined based on the team score for a pre-selected (and highly secret) 9 holes.  A “scramble” is fun, and you don’t have to be a good player to help the team.

Your $55 fee (MCC members, $45) includes a donation to the charity, greens fees, cart, light meal, and prizes. In addition, “Personal Hole Sponsorships” are available for $50.
