Browns Shamble July 31 Fun and prizes
Plan to play in the most fun golf event of the season, and it is right here at MCC.  The Brown's Bar Shamble is an 18 hole event in which every player hits a drive, and then each player plays their own ball into the hole from the spot of the best drive.  Handicapped tournament.  Plenty of great prizes, food and beverages at Brown's Bar after event.

Friday Fish Fry


Friday Fish Fry available now at MCC.  We will be serving what may be the best (and healthiest) fish fry you have ever enjoyed between 5 pm and 9 pm.  Our secret? The recipe and the oil we fry the fish in. 

Rice Bran oil imported from California is the healthiest oil available for frying.  Click here to read about it's amazing qualities. 
Why do we use this much more expensive oil, when our fish fry would be excellent without doing so?  Because our commitment to offer the best products and services we can is constantly being renewed and examined.  Come out and enjoy a great fish fry with us.

Marshfield Country Club offers you Real Golf in central Wisconsin, golf the way it's meant to be played. This is an "open to the public" club where the pace is relaxed and friendly, where we make you feel at home and where we provide great playing conditions to enhance your round.

Our course has 18 intriguing holes, set amid gently rolling hills and thick woods in central Wisconsin. It's the perfect layout for all levels of golfers - low and high handicappers, men, women, seniors, juniors, even those just starting out in the fascinating game of golf.

If you love to test your clubs and take a few risks, Marshfield Country Club can challenge your length and your accuracy. And watch out for those streams and nature areas that seem to pop up everywhere. You'll have to play here more than once to master your approaches to the greens. And those greens? We think you're going to find some of them are the most challenging putting surfaces in central Wisconsin. Some players even call them "sneaky."

But if you want a golf course that's always fun and playable whatever your skill level, you can pick a tee box here that suits you. We believe that anyone can reach most of our greens without frustration by taking a couple of solid hits.

We have a long and sterling tradition in this part of central Wisconsin. Our first nine was built in 1922. In 1965, PGA golf professional Darrell Acker Sr. bought our course, opened it to the public, added another nine and turned Marshfield Country Club into the fun and friendly place it is today for public golf. Chip and Pam Acker currently own and operate the course and have continued to lavish love and hard work on Marshfield Country Club, carefully grooming the fairways and greens, while maintaining the historic atmosphere of turn of the century (20th) golf.

We have recently completed a renovation project that replaced the deck, upgraded the men's room, added a wheelchair accessible ramp and new storage area, and created our new MCC Grille that will allow us to serve food all day, every day. 

That family atmosphere means we're working all the time to come up with ways to make your game a pleasure. You'll find great practice facilities, cutting-edge golf instruction, programs geared toward beginners and families and fantastic experiences for groups who come here for outings.
